One of the missions of the C.L. Davis Foundation is to ensure that outstanding texts in veterinary pathology are going to be available to veterinary pathologists for years to come. The Foundation currently offers three distinct ypes of bound publications to the public. Print publications are textbooks and atlases which have been reprinted by the Foundation. Fascicles iclude the 11 current volumes of the World Health Organization's Tumors of Domestic Animals series, now available through the Foundation. Finally, Publications-On-Demand are reprinted copies of valuable books which are long out of print, and for which the Foundation has received a license from the original authors to reproduce. Publications-On-Demand include both textbooks and outstanding syllabi from previous Foundation meetings.
The Foundation is designated by the Internal Revenue Service of The United States as a tax exempt " Donative Publicly Supported Charity" according to the IRS code of the USA, Sections 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(A)(vi), and as such SELLS nothing. Publications are available to the public for a specified amount of donation to the Foundation.
The Foundation is not a VENDOR, and does not accept purchase orders, which are not accompanied by the prescribed contribution, nor does it issue pro forma Invoices. As a publicly supported charity it does not refund contributions. It will replace any of its publications for which proof is submitted of damage in shipping or faulty printing or recording.
